Scheduling time for independent reading for teachers. <br><strong>ACTIONABLE STEPS</strong><br>1. <strong>Define</strong> independent reading time with teacher schedules.<br>2. <strong>Create</strong> anchor charts <br>3. <strong>Planning</strong> and <strong>modeling</strong> independent reading behaviors. Incorporate the "Just Right" books anchor chart. Discuss a balance of books.  Encourage the enjoyment of reading. <br>4. <strong>Practice</strong> with fidelity.  Practice. Practice.
