1.Qualitative Method is text-based, more in-depth information on a few cases and no statistical tests. Quantitative Method is number-based, less in-depth but more breadth of information across a large number of cases and Statistical tests are used for analysis.
2. We're not trying to predict anything here we're trying to gauge and understand better the society around us quantitative on the other hand is looking at research that is going to be looking at variables and it's trying to either prove a hypothesis or possibly even disprove it.
3.Desirable: it's trying to either prove a hypothesis or possibly even disprove it. Qualitative is more of an exploratory former research and it's not necessarily defining and trying to prove or disprove a hypothesis.
4.Qualitative is normally going to use one source to collect data from. It could be newspapers, journals. It is might be observations or interviews or even audio and video materials.

Quantitative is just using numbers. They are looking for things to prove something right or wrong, so they are going to be looking for more statistics and things that are concrete.

1.Quantitative research focuses on the quantitative aspects of things and in order to qualitatively more accurately. Qualitative research focuses on the material aspects, and mainly the actual data obtained from the survey.
2.It is used for quantitative research, because in qualitative research, it is unrealistic to put forward hypotheses in advance. Any researcher subjectively hopes or does not wish to put forward hypotheses, and prior knowledge cannot be guessed or assumed.
3.A variable is any entity that can take on different values.

Quantitative Variables - Variables whose values result from counting or measuring something.

Qualitative Variables - Variables that are not measurement variables. Their values do not result from measuring or counting.

4.Quantitative research deals with numerical data or data that can be converted to numbers. Quantitative research focuses on data of observable and measurable variables.

Qualitative research methods are mainly as follows: direct observation, questionnaire survey, sample group, in-depth interview, case analysis

1. Qualitative research will focus on things that need to be discussed and debated. It will describe many things. It will use surveys, observations and interviews. It will also look at cultural relics in a certain area. It will look at language, religion, and ethnicity. Look at these things in a way to be discussed. Quantitative research will clearly prove certain things, for example, when looking at a field, it will look at the economy, data, exactly the description, or it will look at the population by age and gender.
2. Hypothesis means an idea or theory that the researcher sets as the goal of the study and examines it and is replaced as a theory when the hypothesis is true in the study's conclusion. A hypothesis is material thinking based on a scientific process. It is used in quantitative research as quantitative research does not require many words. It will take the analysis portion of the different data collected, break it down and see if the information gathered has any sort of statistical significance which will lead them to their final conclusion to back up their hypothesis or go against it.
3.A quantitative variable is a variable that reflects the concept of magnitude, that is, if it can take values that are numerical. Thus, a quantitative variable represents a measure and is numerical.
4. Qualitative research usually uses a source to collect data, which may be newspapers and periodicals, observations or interviews, or even audio.

Quantitative research uses only the numbers they are looking for to prove whether something is right or wrong.

1. Qualitative Variables - Variables that are not measurement variables. Their values do not result from measuring or counting. Because student’s satisfaction cannot result from measuring or counting.
2. Qualitative research methods. Because it is to study the relationship between social phenomena or things according to their properties and the contradictory changes in motion and to study the relationship between the two from the intrinsic character of things, and on the basis of certain theories and experience.
3. This is a quantitative study. Youth unemployment is positively associated with youth substance abuse. There are two variables in between, and there is an association.
4. Quantitative research methods. Because the main methods of quantitative method design are the investigation method, correlation method, and experimental method. This aspect of the problem should use the investigation method to study.

1.I think the method used is quantitative research. Because the content of the topic is mainly to collect students' opinions on the university, while qualitative research is the method to study the answer of why, and the research method of this question will adopt the statistical and analytical methods of quantitative research

2. i would choose quantitative research as a question on the relationship of two variables would require a hypothesis. In this question there are 2 variables, age and religiosity, being looked at. It’s also required to look at large groups and it would require more of a statistical report than a narrative report for their final report.

3.It is a qualitative study. Qualitative research plays an important role in solving special problems that are difficult to solve in quantitative research, such as understanding the special behaviors of abusers, the process and rules of drug transmission in the population, and the etiology of drug abuse. One of the main methodologies of qualitative research is ethnographic research

4. I would choose qualitative research as this requires more of a personal experience and interview from the specific group, which is the youth in 2020. Interviewers would be required to ask more open-ended questions in order to derive the different answers provided by different youths. the final report would then be a narrative as there need to be direct quotations given from each individual research participant.

1.students’ satisfaction in the College is Qualitative. Satisfaction can be divided into four categories: very satisfied, relatively satisfied, not satisfied and very dissatisfied. Quantitative is a kind of variable. Quantitative can determine the order, that is, the value of the variable can rank the research object in height or size
2.Quantitative research. Age and religiosity are particular indexes, so it cannot be changed by researcher’s bias. The research is to test the hypotheses of different ages linking with different religiosities in the UK, and it does need a large number of random specimens.
3.I think it's better to use quantitative method to do this research. Because we need to find the data of substance abuse among adolescents and youth unemployment. Quantitative method is a better way to collect and analyze data.
4. I think it's better to use quantitative method to do this research. Finding the number of people who like to work in-depth-interview or closed-ended questioner is a big project. We need to collect data using quantitative method.
