I am looking to grow in the following areas: phonological awareness, pre-reading skills, and decoding, encoding, and word study.  I have not had specific training in these areas and I believe so it would be so beneficial for my students. I may need support from other teachers in my cohort to better understand the areas mentioned above in order to implement teaching strategies to best help my students in reading.
