After the war the British defeated the French and NA and continued controlling the new world. After the British spent the 130 million pounds they needed money and started all of these crazy taxes that got the us mad and started all of this.

All of this Tea is now worth 1 to 2 million dollars that’s a lot of money do you know something that I believe is shocking. 1to 2 million dollars compare that to the Louisiana purchase. Fun Fact the Louisiana purchase was 3 million dollars back then and that is still a lot of money back then but a toooooooooonnnnnn of land and try to compare that to 2 million dollars which what the Tea could be worth right now is a big comparison. 342 Tea chest for 2 million dollars and the Louisiana purchase for a tttoooooonnn of land well thats a surprising comparison.

Facts about the Boston Tea Party. 7000 people where there to decide what to do with the Tea. That is a record for the most people at the Old South Meeting house. The reason why the people didn’t want the Tea was because they didn’t want to pay 3 cents per a pound for Tea. 7 ships left for Boston from Great Britain/ London. All the ships combined where carrying roughly 20,000 wooden chests of Tea. Each of the chests weighed 360 pounds. Mostly all of the people there where disagreed with there president of them Thomas Hutchinson even the Sons Of Liberty. Thomas agreed to unload the Tea when nobody wanted to pay the fee because probably he loved Tea when they where surviving without it with there soon to be famous Hot Chocolate! So nobody wanted to pay for the Tea that they don’t even want. This made them angry and mad and they thought of a plan soon to lead to the event of the Boston Tea Party. The Colonists disguised themselves with… Itchy gray wool blankets over there clothes, They also painted black stripes of ash over there face. This plan was made by…80 people. Those 80 people where a mix of angry Colonists and Sons Of Liberty who where also angry. When they got to there biggest part of there plan which was dumping the Tea into the river it was a… Successful! It worked they charged all the way to one ship with 50 people who where going to attack and those 30 people who planned it which I guess was all Sons Of Liberty’s just a guess from me- Ethan. Back to the plan they got to a ship guarded by a redcoat I believe and overpowered the redcoat because there was 50 people doing it and just charged right past them and charged to the captain and did the same thing just a little different and threatened with all 50 peoples axes for the cargo key and got it! After they got the cargo key they did the big part they dumped all the Tea out! All of the Tea that they all 50 people kept dumping took 3 hours! All 50 men had a job and these where the results! All of the 50 men dumped all the Tea of 1 ship in 3 hours and turned all of the river brown or green I just forgot and just charged all the way out into the crowd. It was successful! This didn’t trick any of the British at all and they got in trouble. The British told the King and they got in big trouble and that is the event of the Boston Tea Party. The End.

After the Boston Tea party it led to Britain thinking that this was a great insult to them and the king was outraged. Fun Fact: British citizens where so mad that they wanted to destroy the place that they ruled over Boston! All the British where so mad that the king put 4 new laws on Bostonians with series of the new laws called the Coercive Acts. After the laws was put down on the citizens of Boston more British troops arrived in Boston to enforce the Coercive Acts. Under the Coercive acts citizens of Massachusetts no longer had the right to be trialed by a local jury. If someone committed a serious crime, they, could be tried in another Colony or even England. British troops were allowed to stay at taverns and empty houses. Because of the new law. The worst part for Boston was that they weren’t allowed onto the piers/ports until the East India Company was paid back for all that ruined Tea.
