Order of units should be looked at.  Module 1 seemed way too hard and had measuring much like Module 7, however, Module 7 seemed more simplified. 
Some lessons like the arrow method had too many lessons.  The arrow method seemed hard for my group of students this year.
Possibly omit or combine lessons in some modules

The mental math is much improved.  They have such a good understanding of place value, which has improved their mental math as well.  

This was our second year, so it has been easier teaching the lessons and knowing what is most important.  

Our students have scored so high on STAR math, showing that the program is working!  We were surprised by the data...the kids did even better than we expected!  

The kids know exactly what to expect because of the built-in routine.
