<title>Okay, so, I finally got started making my genius hour product. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it was going to be at all. At first I thought it was going to be relaxing and fun to make it… boy was I wrong. My original idea of drawing the makeup looks directly on the Velcro did not work AT ALL. In order for anything to even show up on the Velcro I had to get fabric markers. When I put it on the Velcro it looked so gross, the texture of Velcro is very fussy and hard to draw on. Also every shade of lipstick is slightly different each decade, and in order for it to be accurate to the time, I needed more than just the two pink and red markers in the pack. So I took the Velcro that I had gotten and used it as just a way to stick it onto the model head. What I ended up doing is I got the back of notecards because they are made sturdier then printing paper, and attaching the Velcro the back of the paper. I used colored pencils that I had on deck to give me all the color variety I needed. Then I started drawing on the notecards which was SO much easier because of the smooth service. I knew I had little time to give my presentation so I needed everything to be organized. I started putting all my drawn pieces in different zip lock bags. I also labeled each bag with the decade they belong to and I wrote what I need to do with my models hair. I thought it would be good idea to put a bandana on my models hair for the “working women” look in the 1930’s. I also decided that I wanted to make a flower crown for the 1970’s look. </title>
