Turkey's "Bell Flowers Project", a new species of plants found in Erzurum.The plant is known as "Morgeven" among the people.Ege University (EU) held in the Botanical Garden site and supported by TUBITAK "Turkey's Bell Flowers" part of the research project, explaining that they did Erzurum fieldwork Ege University Botanical Garden and Herbarium Research and Application Center Assoc. Dr. Hasan Yildirim, Hınıs and Pasinler stated that they met with a morgeven (Ebenus) population on limestone rocks at an altitude of 2040 meters, and they took measurements and samples of this plant.
In Turkey, "astragalus" s known for his research on Gazi University Faculty Professor, Department of Biology Dr. Expressing that they have a joint work with Zeki Aytac, Yıldırım, said:
"We have determined that the plant is a new species that has not been identified so far. We prepared a scientific article on the plant. It turned out to be a new species that has not been introduced to the scientific world until now. Our Makalemiz was published last month and was a member of the Faculty of Biology at Gazi University. Dr. Zekiye Suludere'ye athen "Ebenus zekiyeae Aytaç and Yıldırım" was named. Erzurum, the province where the scientific name of the plant was discovered, was suggested to be "Erzurum morgeveni".
