Hardworking

" Once upon a time freedom used to be life now it's money. I guess the world really do change" ( Mama )

This qoute shows how Mama is hardworking because she give her all to her kids even her last bit of money. Even though Walter lost the money, she trusted him enough to try and fix it. Mama is hardworking to me because she still take care of her kids even though they should be taking care of her. She could be really tired and still she'll try to manage everything with the help of Ruth. Mama even sometimes looks atfer Travis like her own and little kids can be a handful. Mama has many traits but Hardworking is the main one.

Wise

" It don't sound nice for a young girl to say things like that you wasn't brought up that way. Me and your father went through trouble to get you and your brother to church every sunday"

This qoute clarifies how wise mama is. Mama is wise because of many reasons, she been alive the longest. She experience things her childern didn't experience, she's doesn't like when they talk down on god. Based on Mama's character growing all she knew was god. In the book, Mama talks about her ancestors were going through the worst times and you can kind of predict it's upsetting to Mama when her kids act they way do.

Mama reminds me of my grandmother because I ask my grandmother about a lot. My opinion of Mama is she's super postive and I kind of idolize her. She took care of her kids when her husband died, not many would have the strength to carry on with life. Mama is one of them grandmothers who see the good in people even when you don't. She's the definition of an strong woman in my eyes because providing for two kids and, trying to maintain a good household is a lot of work.

This art relates to Mama because Mama is always the person who never thinks negative. The art means "Hear no evil, Speak no evil, See no evil". Throughout the book, Mama was wise through all the situations. The definition of wise is "Showing experience, knowledge". Mama's character is positive she always tries to shed light on a situation no matter what it is. Mama having the knowledge she has, she teaches her kids something everyday including Ruth and Travis.

Mama dealt with the death of her husband, she deals with her son's drinking problem. But, That doesn't stop her from still rising, Mama does things for the sake of others. Mama manage to buy an house for everybody because her grandson needed more space and somewhere to sleep. Most importantly, Mama's an independent person, keeping everyone happy including herself

The lyrics relates to Mama because the song is basically about strong women who are giving it their all. In the book, Mama's husband passes away and she's getting his life insurance money. Moreover, She's putting the money to good use, paying for Beneatha to go to school and buying a house for her grandchild. Most importantly, The lyrics relates to Mama because mama finds the strength in her everyday to keep everyone happy. In the book, Mama trusted Walter with money and honestly in my opinion it takes a lot of strength to trust anyone.

The theme of "A raisin in the sun'' is Change.
"He finally come into his manhood today, didn't he ? Kind of like a rainbow after the rain" ( Mama )
My theme is change because the family went through a lot of changes, especially moving into a town where you're not wanted. The biggest change was Walter, he finally became the man everybody thought he wasn't gonna be. Another change was Beneatha's dream of being an doctor, even though her brother lost the money she had an opportunity of still becoming one. "Change is something everybody needs once in the lifetime, change can be good". Throughout the book the Younger' family changes were good and bad.
