The main characters name is junior. He is an enthusiastic boy who loves his dog. He lives in an Indian Reserve. His family is poor. His ideal of the American dream is to live without being hungry and to have a happy, healthy dog. He brainstorms jobs to help pay for his dogs seizures. One big obstacle he faces is he is always hungry, he lives in an Indian Reserve, and he was born into a generation of poor people. No, he has not achieved his version of the American Dream in this passage. The overall message he shows is it doesn’t always work out. He supports and believes in it, but not for him. He doesn’t have the opportunities to make money for himself.

Mary and margaret
