I am writing to express my interest in the position of Mathematics Tutor. I have a  background in mathematics and a huge passion for teaching, that's why I am interesting un this position. It would be a good challenge for me.

I graduated from one of the strongest schools of our country ( #3 in Moscow and #21 in Russia), where I  gained experience in tutoring 4-grade students  in small groups ( I was heading math courses for 8 months). This opportunity allowed me to develop my teaching skills and to inspire kids to learn maths. I also have a strong base in mathematics, because I had a lot of extra classes in it and I also loved this subject at school and spend a lot of my free time doing different homeworks. And now I am on my first year of BA program in fundamental and computational linguistics, where we have a really strong discrete mathematics. 

In addition to my academic qualifications, I am a good team worker, a sociable person and I am very responsible. Talking about my other interpersonal skills, I am patient and really like to explain mathematical concepts to my youngest brother and sister.  I think that it is really important to be like "friends" in some cases with students, because it will help them to feel more comfortable and they won't be afraid to ask "stupid" questions ( that, in my opinion, are the most important thing in learning).
