In order to make tessellations I first took crop photographs of objects I found interesting and then uploaded them on to my computer and chose my favorite ones to make into tessellations. Then on photoshop I adjusted my photo so it would be able to fit in an 8in. by 8in. layout. For the 2x2 each photograph was 4 inches and for the 4x4 each photograph was 2 inches and finally for the 8x8 each photograph was 1 inch, after each photo was fitted I started editing the photographs into tessellations.
