I would like to know if the student who is interested in studying at a Bsc Program provided by one institution (in Hungarian) would it be possible for him to make the language preparatory course in some institution and then, after the exams, could he start the course at the selected institution? (If yes, how should the student proceed?)
Or is there just an opportunity for him, through just one institution?

Answer:
Yes, it is possible. Language preparatory courses are not connected to the study programmes in that sense that after successfully completing the language prep. course, you can apply to any available study programmes taught in Hungarian.
Note: successfully comleting the language prep. course is a condition for applying study programmes taught in Hungarian, but you will also need to complete the institutional admission procedure regarding the study programme(s) you applied to.

Also, I am not connected to a diaspora community here in the United States, other than a Hungarian club that my family has been attending the last couple decades. Could one of the ladies at the club write my recommendation later, or who else would qualify to be able to write this for me?

Answer: Yes, taking part in Hungarian language and culture course is compulsory for everyone studying in a foreign language study programme. There will be courses organized at different levels for students with a different level of language proficiency.
The Letter of Recommendation can be issued by any diaspora organization, but it should contain the signature of the authorized representative of the organization. So it has to be an official letter. Or, you can turn to a Hungarian Diplomatic Representative of your region.
