What is STEM Education?

 STEM is a new educational-methodical area in which the learning approach combining several scientific disciplines and "Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics". Study of the interdisciplinary approach, combining elements and achievements of each of these areas. Thanks STEM methodology, children can not fathom the logic of the phenomena around them, to understand their interconnectedness and interaction, to nurture and develop curiosity, develop teamwork and adoption of the basics of management and self, develop critical thinking, increase scientific literacy and create a new generation innovators and inventors.

Project Based Learning (PBL) in translation means "project based learning".

What is characteristic of PBL is to give students a project that can involve different educational activities, in which a student connects multiple disciplines, answers to current questions and solves current problems, applying their knowledge in practice.

U svom okruzenju i svetu u kome zivimo suoceni smo sa mnogobrojnim problemima i izazovima kako da te probleme resimo.Projektne ideje kojima zelimo da resimo neki problem moraju biti realne kako bi bile ostvariive.U planiranju projekata moramo postaviti adekvatne ,dostizne ahteve kako bi nase ideje bile moguce i kako bi imali realnu korist od produkata naseg rada .

Na osnovu nekoliko primera koje smo imali priliku da pogledamo u videu,zakljucila sam da je veoma vazno na koji nacin predstavljamo projektnu ideju ucenicima.Najava i predstavljanje ideje treba da bude ubedljivo,uverljivo i zanimljivo kako bi motivisalo ucenike na razmisljanje i rad.

Svaki projekat treba poceti neodoljivim pitanjem vezanim za projekat, koje ce izazvati pokretacku snagu kod ucesnika,probuditi mastu,interesovanje i zelju da ucestvuju u realizaciji tog projekta a istovremeno im dati potrebne informacije i smernice za taj projekat.

What makes a PBL project powerful?

A lesson or a project which is designed as per the interests or the nature of children will inspire them to learn.
Any lesson or any project that only meets the criteria of what adults want to teach can never be a good idea to teach.
Another key to making a project interesting and inspiring is the title.

It is necessary to describe learning outcomes of a PBL project. The teacher must be clear about his/her project idea and its objectives.
If a teacher cannot describe learning outcomes clearly, it is because the idea of the project is not well understood. After successfully writing the learning outcomes, move towards designing tasks/activities.

U učenju zasnovanom na projektu upoznajemo projekt sa ulaznim događajem. Predstojeći događaj je dramatičan pristup uvođenju projekta i trebao bi biti kratak i pamtljiv.
Nakon što projekt bude osmišljen, pronađite zanimljivu ideju za događaj prijave. To bi mogao biti video, slika ili učitelj može ispričati priču.

Andrew Miller: 'Driving questions (DQ) can be a beast. When I train teachers, they say the same thing, "Writing the driving question is one of the hardest parts of an effective PBL." I agree. When I am constructing a DQ for a PBL project, I go through many drafts. It's only now, after implementing many projects and having coached countless teachers that I consider myself adept.'
For the teacher: A DQ helps to initiate and focus the inquiry. Remember the project shouldn't be trying to solve the world's problems. Instead, it should be a focused action, and focused inquiry; the goal is to ensure the students are focused. The teacher needs to help focus the teaching and learning, and the driving question help with that. Also for the teacher, it helps to guide planning and reframe standards or big content and skills.
For the student ultimately, the driving question is for the students. It creates interest and a feeling of challenge so that even the most reluctant student thinks, "Hmmm, I guess that sounds kind of cool."
It helps student answer the question: "Why are we doing this?"
