From the beginning of the course, I learned how to create a virtual classroom. I found that extremely interesting and innovative. I believe that would be easy for students and parents to navigate. Students are learning in remote settings due to the COVID 19 pandemic, and I believe that the virtual classroom will be very beneficial. In addition to that, I’m really glad I learned about reading records because it will help me assess my future students’ levels in reading. I learned about the importance of culturally relevant content and literature in classroom through a new lens. The whole concept of windows and mirrors is really important because it builds tolerance and acceptance in a classroom. The classroom should be a safe, fun, engaging learning environment for the students.
