I remember I was in my first college apartment watching CNN late into the night watching more and more states fall to Trump. At first I told myself, "don't worry, she'll catch up," but as we all know, she never did. That was a moment I realized I could have done more and need to do more in the future. 
After Trump's win was cemented, my family and I began to hear about the Women's march happening in Washington, D.C. Myself, along with my sisters, cousin, mother, and aunt, flew to D.C. the day after Trump's inauguration in 2017 and joined the demonstration.
