The Battle of the Talas was a war between the Chinese and the Arabs. They fought for five days, with the Arabs outnumbering the Chinese 100,000 to 30,000. It happened because the Arabs and Chinese had conflicts before the war. Since the Arabs quickly rose, it became a problem for the Chinese, who were interested in land in Central Asia. They argued, and eventually the argument became a war.
