         <title>John D. Rockefeller</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>John D. Rockefeller was born in 1839, he was the founder of the Standard Oil Company, and one of the world's wealthiest men and a major philanthropist. His father was a traveling salesman. At age 16, he worked as an office clerk at a Cleveland commission firm. In 1865, Rockefeller borrowed money to buy out his competitors and take control of the refinery, which had become the largest in Cleveland. He grew interest in the expanding oil industry. He bought many rivale refineries and gained a monopoly. His goal to live to the age of 100 was lost when he died at the age of 97 on May 23, 1937. John D.          <description><![CDATA[<div>J.P. Morgan, full name, John Pierpoint Morgan, was born on April 17, 1837 and died on March 31, 1913 in Rome, Italy, During his lifetime he would go on to become of of the wealthiest men of the late 19th century and early 20th century. J.P. Morgan was born in Hartford, Conneticut into a prominent family. He wassickly child, but when he wa shelathy he would enjoyed galleries and concerts with his parents. When he finished his education in 1857, he moved to New York&nbsp; to work as a clerk and gained experience. He later went on to work in his own company J.P. Morgan &amp; Co. which soon became a major player in the steel industry. After purchasing Carnegie steel, he merged them into the first billion-dollar corporation. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Andrew Carnegie</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On November 25, 1835, Andre Carnegie was born in Dunfermline, United Kingdom. He was not educated formally as a child and at the age of 13 he and his family moved to the United States. After settling in Alleghan, Pennsylvania, Carnegie began to work in a factory and earning $1.20 a week In 1852, he took a new job at the Pennsylvania railroad where he began to make investments in oil which brought him good money. In 1865 he left his job to focus on other business and by the end of the decade he became dedicate dto the steel industry.&nbsp; His business, Carnegie Steel, went on to produce much of the US' steel in his century and after years of immense wealth, he sold his business in 1901 to J.P. Morgan. In the last years of his life, Carnegie spent much of his money on helping others by donating his money to fun libraries and to other charities.          <title>Henry Clay Frick</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Henry Clay Frick was born on December 19, 1849 and died on December 2, 1919. When he was 21 when he began working on building and operating coke ovens. He started his company Frick &amp; Company, taking advantage of the great financial panic of 1873. He became chairman of Carnegie Brothers &amp; Co. Frick, as a result in his leading role during the Homestead Steel  Strike in 1892, was stabbed and shot by a man named Alexander Berkman, but he survived.  Weeks before his 70th birthday, Henry Clay Frick died of a heart attack.</div>]]></description>
