I agree with everything that girl said. I know i can't relate to all of that, but I can relate to some. I see this happening. Girls wearing a ton of makeup just to impress the guy they like or the popular kids. Even though it isn't them. They try so hard to be respected and cared for, but they already are. They don't need to be pretty or cool. They just need to be themselves. If the people don't accept them for who they are the "popular" kids don't deserve them. They are better. Even I have these troubles of do people think I'm dumb do people think I'm ugly. We have built up this incredible standard that is not acceptable because people want to be that. but they can't. Every day i wonder if I'm gonna get judged by what I do or say and by what I wear. And i do get judged. One time I wore a pink shirt and pretty much immediately people criticized. Our society's standards and stereotypes are not good. As a dude you have to have a six pack to be considered cool or "cute" or as a girl you have to have a " nice face" this shouldn't be true. People kill themselves because they can't bare the humiliation this has to stop. When you go in bed and get in your pajamas you do think did I gain weight am I fat. Did I do something wrong. Even if you didn't just the thought of humiliation by people calling you fat will make you insecure. NEW FLASH we can't change what we look like or what our parents gave us when we were born. You can't change that you are white, black, asian, or any other culture. So why does it matter? It matters because our society has so many standards that are impossible to live up to. Judging someone by their looks like if they are fat or not is basically being racist. It is just as bad because. If you are black or white you can't change that. Same for your physical appearance. You can barely change it. But if people started being nicer and not judging people wouldn't have to be insecure. I myself am insecure. I am considered "fat" people call me fat even if they don't know my situation. Maybe it is baby fat or maybe I am fat. But NONE OF THAT MATTERS. Just be yourself and if people appreciate you good and if they don't then don't hang out with them because you are special they don't deserve you!!
