The miniseries "Chernobyl", directed by Johan Renck, shows the elapse of the accident on the Vladimir Ilyich Lenin I Power Plant, also known as Chernobyl.

During the episodes we accompany the character Valeri Legasov (Jared Harris), a nuclear physicist that was requested by the government comission to deal with the incident. We also see other important characters like Boris Shcherbina (Stellan Skarsgard), Ulana Khomiuk (Emily Watson) and Lyudmilla Ignatenko (Jessie Buckley).

The episodes show the chronological order of the events with the power plant, from its explosion to the judgement of the responsibles for the accident.

The best part is that all characters existed, and the realism is absurd. As the director said: "We need to do everything as it really happened, this is a tribute to all people who died or knew someome who died or even suffered consequences of the disaster".

Also, the movie shows the political situation related to the disaster, as the Soviet Union tries to hide it from the rest of the world, and starts dealing with the problem a bit late, and this causes people to die, and suffer the effects of radiation poisoning, as seen in the parts showing Lyudmilla, Vasily Ignatenko's wife, a fireman sent to Chernobyl, who starts suffering the effects of the radiation.

The miniseries won the Emmy for Best Miniserie, Best Direction, and other 81 awards.

The quality of the series is higher than much more known series, and it is recommended for people who like history and science. However, be advised - there are some disturbing and shocking scenes. Anyway, I highly recommend the series.

It's about a viking village in Norway that sails around the world. It demonstrates the difference and fights of the pagans and christhians, and all the predijuce and sexism. 

I don't recommend it for those who don't like fights, mutilations and sacrificies scenes.

A Quiet Place 1 talks about aliens that come to earth, they can't see or smell, but they can hear everythin. This turns them into killing machines. The film has an incredible cast, with John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmons.They are a family that is fighting for survival, but will they handlle the situation successfully? It's a film for who like some thriller and action. If you like these kinds of films, you better watch it!

The trilogy, Fear Street, tells the story of mysterious murders that happen over the centuries in the small town of Shadyside. 

In the first movie, Fear Street 1994, a group of teenage friends composed by Denna (Kiana Madeira), Josh (Benjamin Flores Jr.), Kate (Julia Rehwald) and Simon (Fred Heachinger) work together and make plans to destroy the assassins who are trying to kill one of their friends, Samantha (Olivia Scott). They investigate and find out that the whole town is cursed by Sarah Fier, a witch who was hanged in 1666 for committing a sin; since then, everyone who touches the witch’s bones will be chased and killed. Now these teenagers will have to end the curse and save their friend.

I highly recommend this movie as much as the rest of the trilogy; it’s a little bit scary but if you like mystery you will love this movie.

Attempting to infiltrate into the Na'Vi people, he uses an "avatar", an identical body to Na'Vi people. He is a music teacher at a public school that finally manages to have an opportunity in an audience for a band. He ends up getting accepted into it but something very unfortunate happens in the process: HE DIES!

Now he has to work together with 22 (Tina Fey), who is a tiny soul who has educational problems, to come back to life and achieve his dream.

That is, until she is accidentally adopted by the siblings Marilla (Geraldine James) and Matthew Cuthbert (R. H. Thomson), and what seems like a mistake at the beginning turns into a fate event. Howerver, even being as happy as  she is with her new home, she soon realizes that others may not be so pleased with the presence of an adopted girl. 

Having to deal with a close-minded society while struggling with her own traumas, Anne ends up making new friends and discovers that she has not only found a place to live, but a family, and how these new relationships can help in her healing process.

A beautiful story about friendship, women empowerment, and love that I would highly recommend watching, but be aware that the age rating is 12 and it portrays sensitive topics such as violence, sexual assault, racism, and others.

This movie tells a little about the past of Toretto and his brother Jakob. Dom and his team needs to recover one  device that was stolen by Jakob.

It's a very crazy movie that breaks a lot of the physics rules, with cars in space and trucks flying.

Some of them don't even get to see it themselves. Who are "they"? Well, you didn't think that such a wonderful species like ours would just accept death right?

The Ark, a space station orbiting Earth, was how they survived and how they continue to survive day after day. They've got supplies, like food, water and oxigen, but those won't last forever, so they create a strict regime that keeps them alive. At least for a little more time.

They are running out of options when the chancellor decides that a hundred of problematic teenagers from the Ark's "jail", should go down back to the surface to see if it is livable again, as their guinea pigs.

Among the hundred, there was Clarke, the daughther of one of the commanders of the Ark, she is worried about the idea of a bunch of teens going all alone to the surface. Why is she in jail? Well, you'll have to watch it and find out. 

Then there are the siblings, Bellamy and Octavia, they aren't supposed to go to Earth, but get in the ship that would take the others by accident. They have a difficult life in the Ark. Octavia has to hide under the floor of her house because her mother has had two children, and that is against the rules. 

The characters above are played by Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley and Marie Avgeropoulos. The 100 is an amazing series, filled with awesome characters and it has an extremely envolving story. Although 007 is perfectly fine and is living his retirement on an island, when he sees on television that London is under attack, he decides to go back. He goes through physical and mental tests, and besides failing all of them, M (Judi Dench) puts him back in the field. Now 007 enters a mission to find who holds the list. His first target is the city of Xangai where he discovers the localization of the guy in the train, and intends to murder him. After killing the guy in the train, Bond finds a Cassino Tip, that is located in Macau.

There, he finds a woman who witnessed the murder of the guy in the train. 007 needs to help the lady in order to find the list holder, and after a fight that involved dragons, he and the lady are directed to the island were Silva (Javier Bardem), the main villain, tries to convince 007 that his mission is nonsense and that the mi6 is lying to him. With a radio on his suit, Bond manages to call the secret service on the island, and arrests Silva.

Back in England, Silva reveals that he was an ex-Mi6 agent with the name of Tiago Rodriguez, and M uses him in a chance leaving him to die, but rescuing some other agents. He blames M for making him be tortured and she makes him go through hell on earth. M is having a conference with the British prime minister, and needs to explain why the mi6 would be relevant. In the meantime, Silva manages to escape from his cell and tries to kill everyone that is in the prime minister reunion with M. Lucky Bond manages to save everyone, but knowing his opponent, Silva, won't stop. He picks up M and goes to find his old Aston Martin, and then take them both to Scotland on his old family house, and find his housekeeper kincade (Albert Finney). He sets up a lot of traps on the house and waits for Silva to come, where they play a game of cat and rat. Finally Bond kills Silva in a church where his family were sepulted, but M is really hurt and also dies. The film ends with 007 meeting his new boss, and going on a new mission. The film won 2 oscars in 2013.

In this film, Gojira (Haruo Nakajima) is created because of the nuclear bomb tests made by USA and then he goes to destroy Japan with his massive power, so a group of scientists and the military force needs to be led by Dr. Kyōhei Yamane-hakase (Takashi Shimura) to stop the giant monster. 

The film is a classic of the science fiction genre and a critique to the nuclear bombs and how destructive they can be to a population. However, for today's standard it's not a beautiful movie.

Luca is a beautiful story of love, trust and friendship between two friends, Luca and Alberto. They are a little different, both are sea monsters! Luca is a boy that lives with his family and helps his mother with some chores. 

The story starts showing Luca’s day, but something happens, a group of people are fishing next to him, and they accidentally drop some objects from the boat. And Luca gets so curious about what humans are, and what they do, and then he meets Alberto. Alberto is the complete opposite of Luca, he doesn’t have a family, he knows a lot of things about humans, and even explores the humans' world. That’s the beginning of a true friendship, they both leave the sea and start exploring the humans world and making some friends. 

Luca can prove that it doesn’t matter how different two people are, there are no obstacles in love. This film is one of the most beautiful that I’ve ever seen, I genuinely recommend watching it, you will not regret it!
