         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Even though I knew that non-fiction stories could be biased, I never knew that some could be flat out lies! Wow.<br>- The questioning stance was very interesting to me. I never knew that non-fiction could be biased until college. Learning this earlier on in my school career probably would have been helpful. I also enjoyed that each of these questions were talked about more in detail too.<br>- I also enjoyed figure 21 on Page 80 of this reading. I thought the strategies could be very helpful for teaching how to use the questioning stance. <br>- I thought that the experiment at the end of this reading was really unique. It was a bit hard to read exactly what the pictures said but from what I could read, I would use this in my classroom with non-fiction books. <br>- "We want to empower students to identify the confusion and then set about solving it." This quote really made me think about how deep some teachers had us reading into books.<br><br></div>]]></description>
