Juliet's main role in the play is to find a husband, to be pretty, and have kids. Juliet's description is 14 years old, beautiful, and young. Juliet is related to Lord and Lady Capulet, they are her parents. Also the Nurse, they are not blood related but the Nurse has always been there for Juliet. Juliet's feelings lead her from obedient to a rebel.

A quote that encompasses Juliet is "Tell me, daughter Juliet, how is your disposition on being married?" Juliet's primary emotion is Obedience; compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another's authority.
Juliet agrees to try loving Paris. (Textual evidence page 4 scene 3) Instead Juliet meets Romeo and they fall in love, Juliet doesn't marry Paris. (Textual evidence page 4-5)

"Shall I speak ill of him that is my husband? Ah, poor my lord, what tongue shall smooth thy name When I, thy three-hours wife, have mangled it? But wherefore, villain, didst thou kill my cousin? That villain would have killed my husband. Back, foolish tears, back to your native spring!" Juliet doesn't know rather she should be upset because Tybalt died, or because she's glad Romeo is still alive. Romeo gets put into a cell, and Juliet needs to see or hear from Romeo. (Lines 142-143 Scene 2 Act 3) (Lines 31-51 Scene 3 Act 3) Juliet is destroyed, constantly weeping.
Romeo is worried about Juliet hoping she doesn't think of him as a murderer.

The song that I think relates to Acts 2 & 3 is "Check Yes Juliet" by We The Kings. I think this relates because the song describes how the couple just wants to get away, not get caught, and be alone together forever. They both just want to get away and be happy. Juliet falls in love with Romeo and they just want to get away and be alone together. (Lines 34-37 Scene 6 Act 2)

"What's here? A cup, closed in my true love's hand? Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end. O churl! drunk all, and left no friendly drop To help me after? I will kiss thy lips. Haply some poison yet doth hang on them To make me die with a restorative." Juliet finds Romeo dead, and can not imagine life without him. So Juliet kisses Romeo to try and take in some poison, then takes Romeo's dagger and slain's herself. Juliet's dead, as well as Romeo. Juliet's parents are devastated (Line 170 Scene 3 Act 5) (Lines 202-205 Scene 3 Act 5)

"What greats punishment is there than life when you've lost everything that made it worth living?" -William Shakespeare. This relates because when Romeo thinks that Juliet is dead, he kills himself because he can't imagine life without Juliet there, then Juliet awakens and she does the same because Romeo appears dead. This time he is actually dead. They are both dead. They both loved each other so much that they would die for each other. (Lines 119-120 Scene 3 Act 5) (Line 170 Scene 3 Act 5)
