I live in Brussels, Belgium and I studied literature and languages (English and Dutch) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles a very long time ago. I can't really say that I have much medical knowledge, but my dad was working as a X-ray technician at the local hospital and my mum used to be a midwife, so health care was always a bit in the background when I was a child and a teenager.

Currently, I am studying biomedical engineering at the Poznań University of Technology, where I will obtain a master's degree :) From the beginning of my journey with studying, my interests revolve around the artificial heart, human heart and heart disease. Working in an operating theater for open heart surgeries is a great challenge for me and an amazing experience.

I am interested in the combination of medicine&rehabilitation and technology. One of my goals is to gain information about the possible applications of new technologies in medicine to make the life of doctors and people suffering from different types of traumas and diseases easier. I would like to broaden my knowledge in these topics which is impossible without having a background in medicine and doctors '/patients' problems as in fact it is mostly doctors, physiotherapists, patients, and medicine-related people who set engineers goals to be reached or give them tasks to be solved.
