The students are going to choose a skill they would like to develop, then self-assess and practice their skill over the term. This allows students to engage and evaluate.

Using more collaborative time prior to performance to explore their song for re-imagining. This will allow them to all reflect prior to beginning rehearsal and outline their ideas. This will also connect with music analysis more directly.

Implemented mentimeter as a starter activity on unit plan and also implemented gallery walk on portal to deeper analyse students dishes.

Exploring Tone/colour in Music

This table of adjectives constitutes one set. Teacher will cut the words out separately and assign a set of words to each group.

Each group should receive one set of words and two sheets of A3 paper with the pictures of the instrument groups.

Groups then have 5 minutes to stick their adjectives around the matching instrument groups.
