•A flash back of Grace's childhood reveals when she was bitten by the wolves and how her relationship with the wolves started.
• Sam remembers the wolf pack dragging Grace from the tire swing in her backyard, to the woods where they attacked her
Rising Action:
• After looking after eachother for about 6 years, Grace and the wolf close the distance that was between them
• A teenager named Jack Culpeper was attacked wolves and announced dead
• Because of the negative attention the wolf attack got, Jack's father, alongside a police officer, hunters, and Grace's father hunt every wolf in Mercy Falls.
• While Sam in his wolf form, he is shot and turns human, he then travels to Grace's back porch where she takes him to the hospital
• After spending longs amounts of time together, Sam and Grace fall deeply in love 
• Isabelle confronts Grace telling her that she saw Jack and that Grace has something to do with all of what has happened
Climax:
• Despite their efforts, the weather gets too cold and Sam turns into a wolf, he will remain a wolf for the rest of his life
Falling Action:
• Grace and Sam face the fact that he will never be human again and that they can no longer be together
• Grace thinks that the reason she didn't turn into a wolf is because the wolf virus was be killed by heat
• Grace and Beck contemplate whether her idea to kill the virus will work
• Isabelle gets three blood samples to inject Sam, Jack, and Olivia with to cure the virus and hopefully turn Sam back to human
• Sam forces himself to become human to receive the shot but halfway through, becomes a wolf again and runs off
Resolution:
• Afew days after receiving the shot, Jack dies, Olivia turns for the winter, and Sam is no where to be found.
