Only recently have restaurants started to print nutritional information on their menus. 

Not until I have satisfied myself that there are some healthy options, do I decide which restaurant to go to. 

On no account should you ever feel forced to have a starter and a main course. 

Seldom ( hardly ever ) do I order something without asking for it to be changed. 

Rarely do people eat out as healthily as they should. 

Little did I know how much sugar is added to these drinks.

Not only will it slow you down, so will it…

I’m writing this letter because the past few weeks I’ve been thinking about my behaviour. I know that the last time we spoke I promised you I will work with you in the laboratory, but if I have to be completely honest, even in that moment of speaking, I wasn’t really sure about that. So, instead of being sincere with you, I decided to accept your offer. But I didn’t say anything else during these weeks, and I imagine that you’ve been waiting for an answer. But now, I can accept my mistake and tell you everything I didn’t say in that moment.

First of all, it’s necessary to make clear that I’m really thankful for your offer. It’s not my intention to look disrespectful or ungrateful. The point is that I think that working in a laboratory is something I will be able to do in a few years and before to make a commitment with a job, I want to stay focused on my university subjects. 

So, the next time you offer me something I wouldn’t be absolutely sure about, I will tell you immediately, because I think that honesty is one of the most important virtues.

I hope that we can put this matter behind us. It’s important for me because as the delegate of my class I have some responsibilites and you and I have to work together on some university issues in the next years.

I would like to apologise for not coming to sign the settlement when you ordered me to do it. I thought that as I worked only three days on that I didn’t have to come to talk to you. I am really upset about it and I recognise that I didn’t acted correctly. 

You should know that for me going to the Barcelona’s wharf to sign my fire was complicated due to de distance I have from my home. And the main reason that explains why I didn’t come is that I had selectivity exams to get the access to the university and my future was on trial.

I regret that situation and I hope you don't have a bad impression about me.

Hey darling, how do you get it on? I’m really sorry about what happened yesterday. I know I haven’t had to speak you like that and you were there with your best intentions. Nevertheless I was so stressed and I wasn’t thinking what I was saying.

Just wanted to let you know that before you talked to me, I was doing my English homeworks. I was trying to keep focused but I just couldn’t because of how noisy and loudy was my family, what’s more, the cat was arround me, only disturbing and entertraining himself with all my stuffs. It was really late, the time was goin on and I hadn’t finished my work yet. Then you started chatting with me and I couldn’t handle the stress.

I really apprecciate when we talked later and you understood everything. You’re such a good boyfriend. Anyway, I regret a lot the way I spoke to you at the begining and I want to thank you how sympathetic you are.

We will continue talking tomorrow.

The official UK govt info about visas for studying in the UK is here

At the moment, EU residents do NOT need a visa:  There will be no change to the rights and status of EU nationals living in the UK, nor UK nationals living in the EU, while the UK remains in the EU.  
But as Brexit is unfortunately moving ahead, the requirements for European students could change so your students will need to stay informed.  

According to this list, for people outside the EU, the only approved tests to get the visa are the ones on this list (some taken in the UK, or IELTS from the British Council in Madrid!).  The best place to get up to date information about this would be the British Consulate and the British Council.

The bigger issue for studying in the UK after Brexit are the fees.  At the moment EU students pay the same as UK students - apparently this will still be the case in 2018-2019, but after that who knows?!  

This may vary depending on each university, but according to the Cambridge English Exam page:  Cambridge English: Advanced is accepted by 100% of UK universities and colleges

Randomly choosing one university (Leeds) I see that they accept IELTS/CAE/TOEFL (minimum scores depend on level of study) - see here
