Yes, I would be interested in being an animal care volunteer at Bird Paradise. That is so, as we can always lend a helping hand. I am personally afraid of animals, but knowing birds would not be too dangerous and harmful to work around, I would really not mind.

One of the Birds which I have read about and is native to Singapore is the Collared Kingfisher. Here are some facts about this Bird. It has a turquoise head and back. The collared kingfisher gets its name from its white collar around its neck. Its breast and belly are also white in colour. Besides feeding on birds, the Collared kingfisher also feeds on worm, crabs and insects. After learning and reading about this bird, I was definitely fascinated to hear about such a unique bird and how this bird is just one of the many native birds to our country, Singapore. Even though I have never spotted this bird, I hope one day I will be able to spot it.
