In another life, I would be living as a barista who loves making coffee almost every day and having my own cafe.

I don't know how it started, but I fell deeply in love with coffee. I may sound like an addict, but it's true 😂 I can never explain how coffee lightens up my mood, especially when it's my favorite, mocha. Whether served hot or iced, mocha will always be my top choice.

Also, there's this thing called streaks on TikTok, where you message your friends daily to keep a streak going.

There is never a day where we don't argue; even for the smallest things, we fight for them. But at the end of the day, we fix it up by joking around until laughter surrounds us.

Besides the fact that she takes after me with my stingy attitude, my little sister is the sweetest girl ever. She brings me small gifts, hides them in my closet, and waits until I see them. She gives me letters and little trinkets to keep.

We share and trade our things as if everything I own, she also does.

When alone, I binge-watch my favorite rom-coms like How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and Clueless.

Baking is one of my sources of comfort. I love baking since I love sweets, and I get to share them with my family and friends!

Usually, I read using my phone, e-books, and the app Wattpad. When I'm not bothered with my academics, I turn to reading romance novels and fiction.

Overall, I have six dogs living with me right now, and I love them with all my heart. The dogs you see are Kelli and Ori. You might be wondering where the others are? Well, they are always camera-shy, so I couldn't take a proper pic :')

In addition, K-dramas are also at the top of my list for movie nights.

Whether it's in the morning, afternoon, or evening, you will always catch me listening to music.

Music is what describes me as a person. Each song's lyrics, beat, and flow express my emotions and feelings.

I listen to music in platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube Music, and Soundcloud.

Junior High School life without them would've been pretty boring. They brought so much joy, laughter, warmth, and love into my life ever since they became my classmates. For two whole years of being together, I can say that we have formed a bond that can never be broken. I miss you Xavier.

The quote above shows that I am in the right circle of friends. Not only do they bring joy, but they have also brought lessons. They have influenced a lot of good things in my life, and I can proudly say that I learned a lot from them.

I am so grateful for each and every one of my friends. I cannot imagine how my life would be so gloomy without them.

Why do I like these media?

I enjoy these forms of media because they provide me with comfort, entertainment, and a way to socialize with other people far away from me.

Whenever I need to get away from my life in the outside world, I enter the digital world. Inside, I can be myself and express everything through movies, music, and other media types.

An example would be using my social media accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to converse with my friends, whom I also met through social media. Another is using apps like Netflix, Wattpad, Spotify, and YouTube to satisfy my needs for entertainment.

Thus, as these types of media enhance my social skills, I can apply them to having proper etiquette when interacting through these media. These forms of media also serve as my stress reliever, and that's why I like them.

Media have influenced my lifestyle and personality, with positive and negative effects. Media contributed to establishing my perspective in life.

I can say that the way it affected me is healthy, but at the same time, unhealthy as well.

First of all, with media, I can be updated with news and updates about what's happening around me. It gives me awareness of the prevalent social issues in today's society. This is one of the positive effects media has on me since it changes my mindset and how I can respond to these issues. Using media, I can voice out my opinions and ideas about certain topics. Second, it allows me to apply and enhance my social skills as I am able to meet new people, which helps me to know the do's and don'ts when interacting with people online. Lastly, it is unhealthy because it makes me dependent on technology. With the use of these media, I have somehow established an unhealthy habit of always checking my gadgets.

The steps I could take to reduce my dependence on gadgets and media could be to focus more on balancing my life outside and inside the world of media. For instance, I will not let media consume my whole routine in my day-to-day life. In addition, I will also focus and explore more on different hobbies that will allow me to limit my gadget usage.
