Nevertheless, based on what the other teachers were discussing in the level 3, we will need to familiarize ourselves with a lot of different apps. In my opinion, this might be a problem for some, as not all teachers are tech-savvy. An example, padlet, based on what I see in here, are very similar to tumblr. First of all, not all teachers are familiar with tumblr and how we can use this. Moreover, this would be a problem to catch the students' attention later on, as tumblr has been blocked in Indonesia. Although well, some students might actually use the VPN to access it, but as far as I know, tumblr is not that popular here.

Therefore, we need to explore some other alternatives. Alternatives that, in the students' point of view, will be interesting enough and can actually engage them. An example that has been suggested by some other teachers is Edmodo. Alternatively, google classroom is quite similar. Both of them are basically the free version of the apple classroom, and they are more widely used. However, we will need more time to explore and prepare the materials for the classroom, including typing out the quiz inside the app itself. The advantage will be some time limit can be set on the quiz itself, and we can also set the period in which the quiz will be available. 

In the end of the day, the key here will be preparation time. And that might be hard to do especially when we need to juggle between a lot of different things. Not to mention, if we only know about what we will teach in the beginning of the academic year, we will have even less time. If we want to 'force it', we will need to sacrifice the time that we were using for family, sleeping, and others only to prepare (especially so for the higher years). 

Therefore, please let us know before holiday, so that we can start our research and prepare better. Well, maybe we only start a week before the holiday ends, but a week is still better than preparing during the semester itself! :P

This digital class will be interesting and refreshing for the students as they like to hold their gadget with them and it will be good if it is applied alternately with the conventional ones as there are some skills that they should master like writing manually, or with blended learning

Therefore, I might need to borrow some ipads to have our practice first with our own colleagues  to apply the classroom app as the teacher first to see how it actually works since we only participated as the students in the previous training and to see how we can explore other apps. Then, we can apply it with our students

The training about Engaging Learning with iPad was an eye opener for me and encouraging me to learn more  about the new updates in technology. 
I’ve been using my iPad for 4 years but I used it for opening my emails and reading my Bible. Now, because of the this training, my interest in learning websites is elevating. I’m excited  to brows and searching other techniques.
