Poemas suyos han aparecido en diversas antologías, como El bosque de los huesos, El turno y la transición, Poesía peruana del siglo XX y otros.

Él fastidia al profesor Arosemena, a pesar de que cada vez que le hace una broma, el maestro de la castiga o la tarea de una tarea de Castellano y Literatura. De manera involuntaria, Arosemena se convierte en el detonador de una situación particular para Mario Darío porque le encarga una tarea de Literatura, en parejas y justo Le toca una llamada Andrea

Mario Darío termina enamorándose de ella y hace todo lo posible para estar con ella, aunque eso significa ser el primero de la clase de castellano. El empieza a hacer poemas y también le pide ayuda a su hermano mayor llamado Iago. Empieza a mejorar en sus notas 

Finalmente, en el día de su cumpleaños, Mario Darío se declara ante Andrea y aprueba el curso de Castellano exitosamente.
