         <title>i started my lesson with lesson rules to control my classes during synchronous meeting time.   </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>then i told them the <mark>main aims</mark> for our lesson to be clear for them.<br><br>as a warm up, <br>i used white board app. to revise the previous sounds that was studied last year. i wrote the sounds then i asked them to tell me what sound is that and give me a word starts with that sounds. i tried to make all class participate to encourage them to study and feel as they are at school .<br>the first steps , i started with asking them to see the picture of the story and try to tell me some words from it and then i told them  the story of <strong><mark>ai</mark></strong> sound to discover the new sound.<br><br>then i made four pictures with ai sounds and i asked them to guess the meaning of them.<br>then i moved to blinding and segmenting words video to know how to divide the word to read it easily.<br>  then i moved in white-board app. to write the <mark>ai</mark> sound in four lines. Before asking them to write in their phonics booklet. <br>the same steps i did with oa sound. <br><br>this step involved them to share their work easily by showing me their job in what's up later. <br><br>i think next time , i need to search on<strong> google</strong> how to apply some applications to share activities or games with my students to see their participations and responses. <br><br>i can give a model for my lesson because what i did was great effort that make my students understood the lesson very well. and the way i presented my lesson was nice and clear with a such funny pictures.<br><br></div><blockquote>my mission maybe i will find out more techniques or websites to teach the sounds in a very funny way as in website of <strong><mark>DaDa ABC .com</mark></strong> may give me more ideas about teaching sounds. </blockquote><div><br>thank you.<br><mark>T.Maryam</mark><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>then we played together in world wall  as a warm up by choosing  a window and read the sounds .<br><br>then i started the lessen by segmenting and blinding words by  asking them to read the sounds to form a word .<br><br>before reading the text , i asked them to see the difficult words. by reading them and to guess their meaning. and show them later the word with the picture to get the meaning of them.<br><br>then we read the title of the text several time and i asked them to mute their mike and listen to the  video of " <mark>Reem is in the rain " <br><br>l</mark>ater on ,  i read sentence by sentence and show them the pictures to get the meaning of each sentences. then i asked some of them to read with me and then read individually only one or two to save time.<br><br>them i asked them three questions to check their understanding before moving to the activities. <br><br>i opened the white board to show them how to write one sentence in four lines.<br><br>in fact, the most important useful step was the one i show them the meaning with their  pictures.<br>it was clear step for all. <br><br>i think next time , i have to search for more games to involve them to participate. <br><br>i can give a model for myself. because i see my effort in students' participation . and how they were excited in our lesson. <br><br><mark>my mission</mark>, is to ask my friends how they teach their students reading short text to find out new ideas and techniques. or maybe i will open YouTube channel of educational videos' to see different ways how to teach or give little kids an effective reading lesson with more ideas and excited time.<br><br><br>T.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br>i began with spelling two words. by letting them open their cameras and show me how to spell in 4 lines.<br><br>then we moved to the ward wall to play small game by spinning  the rolls in order to read wards.<br><br>after that i told the the rules of the lesson before we start the lesson it self.<br><br>i read the aims of the lesson <br><br>i started telling the story of new sound to discover "what the new sound they are going to study "<br><br>then , we moved to the wards that having the sound of ie sound. and show them a short video to see how to read the wards with pictures .<br><br>i opened the white board app to show them how to write the sounds in 4 lines then i tried to let them share with me how they wrote it but most of them couldn't write maybe because of net connections.<br><br>later on , i asked them to listen to the song of <strong><mark>ie</mark></strong> sound and look at the video to know how can we write <strong><mark>ie</mark></strong> sounds in 4 lines then i asked them to write it in their booklet. <br><br>finally, i asked them to blind and segment some wards to help them to read any wards easily.<br>and i did the same steps with second sound (ou)<br><br>in my point of view, letting them to blind and segment wards  are very useful that help them to read fast and in `quick manner. <br><br>i think the next time i will share my PowerPoint with other teacher in other schools to learn new techniques or even new ideas of how to teach kids sounds with different ways. <br><br>i can give a model for my lesson because i can see my effort in their ability's of reading simple wards now more than before.<br><br>my mission may be i will read more in other websites of how to teach kids phonics in international ways. <br><br>T.Maryam AL.Qutiti<br>Grade 2A <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The lesson was in jolly phonics reading 2 <strong>(</strong><strong><mark>faisal is loud)</mark></strong><mark>.</mark><br><br><br>The first day was in 2/4.. And i couldn't do well with the students because of network. It was totally bad. <br><br>So think i did well with 2/5. And it was at 1.00 pm.. The net connection was great and it was good. And SS understood the aim of the lesson<br><br><br>I was proud of my lesson and to my effort. And to what i did in this lesson. <br><br>All my aims i put was clear and i saw my ss understood the whole content of the lesson <br><br>I can give a model to my self. I did my best to get all ss understood or even try to read the text of faisal is loud. <br><br>They were able to segment words and read them easily with most of them so i feel so happy with that. <br><br>Maybe next time i have to search more and more with new ideas or even games to vary my lesson in jolly phonics to attract Them more<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Jolly Phonics (ai &amp; oa)</strong></div><div><strong>The lesson description:<br></strong><br></div><div>Ø First the teacher discussed the learning objectives of the lesson and make it clear for the students&nbsp;</div><div>Ø then the teacher did a warm up activity where she used the whiteboard application to revise the previous learned sounds that the students studied last year she wrote the sounds on the whiteboard and asked random students to say these sounds, and with outstanding students she asked them to pronounce the sound and give her a word starting with that sound&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>I liked the warmup as many students participated in this warmup activity and the teacher reinforced them well:)<br><br></div><div>Ø In the introduction stage the teacher introduced the sound by narrating a story to her students using the new sound and she elicited the characters in this story as well as eliciting what is happening in this story so the students will have the opportunity to think and discover the new sound&nbsp;</div><div>Ø then the teacher provided pictures with the new sound and asked the students to guess the meaning of each picture using the new sound&nbsp;</div><div>Ø the teacher did the blending activity by showing the students a video as a demonstration of how to blend words then she provided a blending activity for students as a practice where she nominated random students from the list to participate and assess their understanding of the lesson&nbsp;</div><div>Ø the teacher did a segmenting activity also by showing a video to students of the way of segmenting words and then provided a segmenting activity for the students to practice&nbsp;</div><div>Ø After that the teacher moved to the white board application in Microsoft teams and she wrote the new sound in four lines demonstration demonstrating the way of writing the new sound&nbsp;</div><div>Ø Teacher provided attractive materials for students and made a good use of technology such as using the PowerPoint program, the whiteboard application and videos as well as the game of <em>word wall application </em>during the warm up activity&nbsp;</div><div>Ø then she asked students to write the sound on their phonics booklet, however the teacher didn't check the students work and asked them do send it through WhatsApp later to check their answers later&nbsp;</div><div>Ø The teacher is following the students progress well and providing different activities to assess them&nbsp;<br><br>I liked the warmup as many students participated in this warmup activity and the teacher reinforced them well:)</div><div>It would be more effective if you provide some interactive activities for students as games in the practice and in the production stage to keep the students active during the lesson and to assist their progress and understanding of the learning objectives.</div><div>It would be more effective if you use more e-learning techniques for classroom management.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson: Jolly Phonics (Faisal is Loud)</strong></div><div><strong>The lesson description:<br></strong><br></div><div>Ø The teacher started the lesson by making a spelling activity as an individual activity for students </div><div>Ø then she talked about the synchronous lesson rules </div><div>Ø she introduced the lesson objectives well to students so they will be able to apply blending and segmenting skills to read a simple text </div><div>Ø the teacher makes a revision of the previously taught sounds where she used the magic hat so the sounds will appear from that hat and students were excited and participated actively during the revision </div><div>Ø then the teacher did a whole class revision of the previously taught sounds where she says the sound and the students repeated it with the action representing it </div><div>Ø the teacher provided a blending activity for students where she used eggs of the hen so students blend the sounds to produce a word out of it and demonstrated the way of blending so the students do it right </div><div>Ø the teacher asked students to open their Jolly phonics booklet to the reading text Faisal is loud, then the teacher read the text for students and they highlighted the new words in the text which contain the new sound </div><div>Ø the teacher did an activity for the meaning of new words where the students match the pictures with the words </div><div>Ø Then the teacher started reading the text sentence by sentence with her students where she asked individual students to read the sentence and highlight the words which contained the new sound; and they did that throughout the text, and I noticed that the students were doing well in this activity </div><div>Ø then the teacher and her students read the text again as a full paragraph with some explanation by the teacher </div><div>Ø the teacher asked students comprehension checking questions such as Is Faisal was quiet?</div><div>Ø Then the teacher asked students to read the text individually and circle certain words </div><div>Ø the teacher asked students to underline tricky words they learned in the previous lessons </div><div>Ø the teacher introduced the new tricky word well and explained it to students </div><div>Ø then the teacher asked students do (look cover write and check) to remember the new tricky word well </div><div>Ø the teacher provided a tricky word activity for students to practice</div><div>Ø the teacher asked students to listen to the text again and write the words that Faisal shouts </div><div>Ø the teacher gave a segmenting activity for her students demonstrating the way of how they segment words and students were able to do it successfully </div><div>Ø then the teacher gave a homework to students asking them to match the lower case letters to the capital letters </div><div>Ø the teacher lesson was well organized and she provided many attractive materials to simplify the lesson and make it enjoyable for students </div><div>Ø the teacher followed a systematic well-organized way to teach reading in Jolly Phonics which helped her to achieve the aims of the lesson </div><div>Ø She is improving in classroom management and she is providing more activities for the practice stage and demonstrating the activities very well to students </div><div>Ø Teacher is using Google forms to prepare quizzes for students to assess their progress she is doing interactive activities as well to identify areas for improvement </div><div>Ø the teacher is providing variety of activities to assess her students in the assessment record </div><div>Ø she demonstrated a good way of using the technology as Microsoft Teams, the whiteboard, the PowerPoint and so on </div><div>Ø The teacher prepared her lesson very well and conducted it smoothly </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>then i told them the <mark>main aims</mark> for our lesson to be clear for them.<br>as a warm up, i used white board app. to revise the previous sounds that was studied last year. i wrote the sounds then i asked them to tell me what sound is that and give me a word starts with that sounds. i tried to make all class participate to encourage them to study and feel as they are at school .<br>the first steps , i started with asking them to see the picture of the story and try to tell me some words from it and then i told them&nbsp; the story of <strong><mark>ai</mark></strong> sound to discover the new sound.<br>then i made four pictures with ai sounds and i asked them to guess the meaning of them.<br>then i moved to blinding and segmenting words video to know how to divide the word to read it easily.<br>&nbsp; then i moved in white-board app. to write the <mark>ai</mark> sound in four lines. Before asking them to write in their phonics booklet. <br>the same steps i did with oa sound. <br>this step involved them to share their work easily by showing me their job in what's up later. <br><br>i think next time , i need to search on<strong> google</strong> how to apply some applications to share activities or games with my students to see their participations and responses.&nbsp;<br>i can give a model for my lesson because what i did was great effort that make my students understood the lesson very well. and the way i presented my lesson was nice and clear with a such funny pictures.</div><blockquote>my mission maybe i will find out more techniques or websites to teach the sounds in a very funny way as in website of <strong><mark>DaDa ABC .com</mark></strong> may give me more ideas about teaching sounds.&nbsp;</blockquote><div><br>thank you.<br><mark>T.Maryam</mark><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>then we played together in word wall&nbsp; as a warm up by choosing&nbsp; a window and read the sounds .<br>then i started the lessen by segmenting and blinding words by&nbsp; asking them to read the sounds to form a word .<br>before reading the text , i asked them to see the difficult words. by reading them and to guess their meaning. and show them later the word with the picture to get the meaning of them.<br>then we read the title of the text several time and i asked them to mute their mike and listen to the&nbsp; video of " <mark>Reem is in the rain " <br>l</mark>ater on ,&nbsp; i read sentence by sentence and show them the pictures to get the meaning of each sentences. then i asked some of them to read with me and then read individually only one or two to save time.<br>them i asked them three questions to check their understanding before moving to the activities. <br>i opened the white board to show them how to write one sentence in four lines.<br><br>in fact, the most important useful step was the one i show them the meaning with their&nbsp; pictures.<br>it was clear step for all. I proudly did&nbsp; <strong>production</strong> step because I give suitable task for different students in my class. good<em> students</em> I gave reading text and asked them to draw picture of Reem wearing the cloth in the text and color clothes the same like the text. weak students I gave a sentence and asked to read it and add one item to that picture. students were injoying and doing good job and I am proud of them.<br>But in blending activity weak students were struggling to differentiate between the pronunciation of the individual sounds a and&nbsp; i and the compound sound ai . so next time I will give them some activities to for this problem and maybe it will be better if I review with students in the start of JP lesson individual sounds and copound sounds quickly.<br><br>i think next time , i have to search for more games to involve them to participate. <br>i can give a model for myself. because i see my effort in students' participation . and how they were excited in our lesson. <br><mark>my mission</mark>, is to ask my friends how they teach their students reading short text to find out new ideas and techniques. or maybe i will open YouTube channel of educational videos' to see different ways how to teach or give little kids an effective reading lesson with more ideas and excited time.<br><br><br>T.          <title>my self-reflection in jolly phonics sound ie and ou</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>i began with spelling two words. by letting them open their cameras and show me how to spell in 4 lines.<br>then we moved to the ward wall to play small game by spinning&nbsp; the rolls in order to read sounds . In this wormup I didn't plan before to do it as in the lesson but in the lesson I have a good idea so good students I asked to give words with that sound and weak students read that sound only . I think new step is better than the old idea because students did very good.<br>after that i told the the rules of the lesson before we start the lesson it self.<br>i read and discuss the aims of the lesson <br>i started telling the story of new sound to discover "what the new sound they are going to study "<br>then , we moved to the wards that having the sound of ie sound. and show them a short video to see how to read the wards with pictures .<br>i opened the white board app to show them how to write the sounds in 4 lines then i tried to let them share with me how they wrote it but most of them couldn't write maybe because of net connections.<br>later on , i asked them to listen to the song of <strong><mark>ie</mark></strong> sound and look at the video to know how can we write <strong><mark>ie</mark></strong> sounds in 4 lines then i asked them to write it in their booklet.&nbsp;<br>finally, i asked them to blind and segment some wards to help them to read any wards easily.<br>and i did the same steps with second sound (ou)<br><br>I am proudly asked students do tictile activity which is suitable for youn kids. I asked them to draw sound by finger and use sand, glue and they liked it very much.<br>in my point of view, letting them to blind and segment wards&nbsp; are very useful that help them to read fast and in `quick manner.&nbsp;<br><br>i think the next time i will share my PowerPoint with other teacher in other schools to learn new techniques or even new ideas of how to teach kids sounds with different ways.&nbsp;<br>i can give a model for my lesson because i can see my effort in their ability's of reading simple wards now more than before.<br>my mission may be i will read more in other websites of how to teach kids phonics in international ways and may be i will watch more portfolio JP lessons in my free time espicially aisha and zakia padle portfolios because they teach JP lessons also.&nbsp;<br><br>T.Maryam AL.Qutiti<br>Grade 2A&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The lesson was in jolly phonics reading 2 <strong>(</strong><strong><mark>faisal is loud)</mark></strong><mark>.</mark><br>it was at 1.00 pm.. The net connection was great and it was good. And SS understood the aim of the lesson<br>I was proud of my lesson and to my effort. And to what i did in this lesson.&nbsp;<br>All my aims i put was clear and i saw my ss understood the whole content of the lesson and were able to answer comprhnision questions not only yes or no questions.<br>In the wormup we have revision for sounds like a, i and for ai, ou because I want to revize individeual and compound sounds so weak student will not say them wrongly and now i do that in every JP class. I prepared the magic hat game so SS were very excited to answer questions so next time I will keep this strategy because its perfect for kids and every SS want to answer.&nbsp;<br>They were able to segment words and read them easily with most of them so i feel so happy with that.&nbsp;<br><br>I am proudly saying now I can follow all the steps of teaching JP in orgnized and successful way. I learned about my lesson that when I memorize in my mind all the step of JP before i teach the class I can do more perfectly so next time I will do also the same. next time I will also prepare for every type of SS suitable activity so every body will be equal in my class and i can see they improve and excited more in my class.<br><br>I can give a model to my self. I did my best to get all ss understood or even try to read the text of faisal is loud and because my SS improved and because I improved in teaching JP in orgenized way.<br><br>Maybe next time i have to search more and more with new ideas or even games to vary my lesson in jolly phonics to attract them more so I will improve in managing my class because i feel I need more tecniqes in online teaching so my class will follow the rule more. I will also continue classdojo app because it help me a lot in managing and for encourjment for my SS.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
