         <title>The Dred Scott Decision(1857)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Dred Scott was a slave who had traveled to Wisconsin(a free state) and went back to Missouri to argue for his freedom. The Supreme Court later decided that Scott should not be able to sue in federal court, and that he would not be free since the Missouri Compromise was unconstitutional. This was okay with many Southerners but people in the North were very upset by this.</div>]]></description>

The raid got many of his mean captured or killed and ended with lots of bloodshed and Brown was sentenced to treason. </div>]]></description>
