Address: 1. The new skills you learned in that module; 2. Any challenges, questions, or frustrations you had with that module; 3. Thoughts on how you might use that modules in your (future) role as an educator. If you don't find a column for your lesson then go all the way to the right and click on the plus and add a column for your lesson.

I’m not really learning any new skills necessarily but I did gain some new ideas from the video. I like the idea of having other students comment on each other’s assignment and put down their own ideas as well. It’s a good way for them to get to know each other and their music tastes a bit more which I think is cool.

I don’t necessarily see any challenges with this besides how students will comment on each other’s document. It would be nice for everyone to be able to look at each other's work but that would be too many people sharing a document. I think it would just have to be in groups so there’s only a few people on each student’s document.

I would love to use this as an assignment and maybe just add on a bit more to it as well as tweak it a bit to fit my future class better.

1. In this lesson, I learned how to organize my google drive so that I am able to find documents faster. I also learned how to create various folders under one and additional subfolders. For example, I can create a folder for Fall 2021, there I can create separate folders for each class that I can color coordinate, and each class can have different subfolders for different things. Next, I learned how to change my settings on a document/folder so that others are able to edit them.
2. The only challenge I faced while doing this lesson was moving various copies of documents onto a folder. I then realized I have to highlights all documents and drag them to the folder.
3. This experience was very helpful in teaching me how to be more organized with my google documents. It will help me find important documents as well as be organized as a future teacher, and as continuous student.

1. This lesson taught me how to use google docs to organize groups ideas on topics such as scams. We can share a google doc with other people to collaborate on issues being looked at. Headings and bullet points can help maintain organization in a sheet. Sharing the doc with others by making sure they are able to edit and all have access to contribute towards a discussion.
2. I do not see any challenges with using this format. My only question is; how would I be able to see the comments each student makes on a doc to ensure each is participating?
3. As a future educator, I would use this module to group students and have them create a doc in which they all add their ideas. I would give them a scenario such as online buying (possible scam) and have them discuss. I would have students format their doc using headings, bullet point, sub bullet points, and highlights to maintain organization.

Not only when it is happening to them but also advocating when they see it happening to others. Also how to respond in a correct manner when talking to other peers, and how impactful words can affect someone's feelings.
2. I do not see any challenges or frustrations in this lesson or using the tools they presented. One question or concern I do have is that when presenting this lesson to all ages would you alter the language you would use to adapt to similar words they are used to?
3. I think this module is definitely relevant to educators because as we adapt to an all virtual learning this issue can come up among students or strangers if they are using their computer at home.

I was able to learn so much through this lesson! You were able to use Google Slides to create, Choose Your Own Adventure stories (if you remember those types of books!) You essentially set up a slide show and create links to the different options in the story. It does take quite a lot of time, and it's easy to get carried away with lots of options for your story. I can see this being a really fun assignment for students, in groups, maybe 4th grade and up. I think they would be really excited to do this and would be learning story structure and technology.

It was a great experience learning to make Google Quizzes. I think this is something every teacher, who uses Google, should learn. It is a great way to provide a quick check of understand or even for more elaborate tests for the end of units. I think it is so helpful that it automatically grades the quizzes for you and the analytics could be really helpful as well. I did have a hard time figuring out all the ways to set up different types of questions, but I'm sure the more quizzes you make, the better you would become.

This activity definitely took a while to complete, but it was very much worth it because the end result is something so cool and original! You can do so many other things with this new skill as well such as making games on a Google Slide, a treasure hunt, etc! I felt that his lesson was more content based and felt it did well in bringing attention to the importance of credibility. I think that the 5 W's is a simple way for students to remember what to check for credibility but I think that it would be more benefitial if this module inputed other questions for them to answer within the document instead of just verbally asking while presenting so when students look back onto their notes they understand where they got those answers from and why it was important for that to include those bits of information. I would use this module in my future classroom because it does a good job at introducing and explaining key vocabulary related to credibility and the format of transferring this website into a google doc could make it easier for me to teach students how to properly find and cite their articles if they first gather the articles and their important information onto a google document first and them work from that one source.

I learned how to use Google Forms to create quizzes. Specifically, I used Google Forms to create a guessing game. This technology allows you to create your own questions, add images and videos, provide feedback, assign point values, create sections, gather responses, and much more. One thing that was a challenge for me was creating different sections within the form. I found that when I would attempt to create a new section, it would oftentimes turn any random portion of the quiz into a section. With that being said, I’m sure there is a way to insert sections more accurately and it was simply user error. I decided to create an “About Ms. Rohn” guessing game. This form could be used as a fun way to introduce myself to my future students at the beginning of the school year. Google forms is also a great tool for quickly creating quizzes that look nice and automatically collect student scores. I found the tool to be incredibly easy to use. Because there are endless ways to customize quizzes, I think that Google Forms can be an incredibly engaging assessment tool for a variety of topics.

There is pretty much endless opportunities when it comes to Google Sheets, but as a result of this Tech Task I’ve become much more familiar with a lot of the features that Google Sheets has to offer. One mistake that I kept making was not selecting every cell before creating a rule. This resulted in the colors not changing when I typed in the corresponding number. Fortunately, I quickly realized my mistake and was able to create the picture fairly easily. I think this would be an excellent alternative to drawing for my more tech savvy students! For example, if an assignment asks students to draw a picture, I may allow them to create pixel art instead! I found Google Sheets to be a little more complex and difficult to use when compared to other Google applications. I definitely feel as though it is better suited for students who are a little bit older and have had some experience using some of Google’s other technology.

This assignment taught me how I can use Google Drawing to do a group project since this format allows me to put the in groups to create a piece of art together or brainstorm as a group since it easy to pull images from a computer, drive, or the internet while using the application. One way that I see myself using this assignment is integrating it in to my Protest Art Unit since it allows my students to see a different lens of how art and the media are used to convey ideas worldwide. One thing I am struggling with still is getting the icons to change color, but I will get it to work by the time I use this tool in my classroom.

What new skills are you learning? Google drive documents are stored in the cloud. Google Drive is great because it allows us to store, access, and share files like documents, slideshows, forms, and photos without any worries that these files can get lost even if a computer stops working. In this lesson I am learning how to create folders for classes and projects, set and change folder colors, rename files and folders, delete, move, and upload files, share files with a classmate and add a classmate’s file to your drive. I am definitely learning so many things under this lesson. For example, I had never changed the color of a folder nor moved a document into a folder. Without any doubt Google Drive is a great option for organizing files. I found it very interesting that we can mark documents in starred folders to indicate they are important.
What challenges, questions, or frustrations do you have? The only challenge I encountered was following all the instructions throughout the lessons. I think that took me a lot of time because I kept on pausing the videos to do the activities. However, I don't mind because I learned several more things about Google Drive.

How might you use these modules in your future role as an educator? As a future educator , I think I will definitely use what I learned in these modules. How I might use them is for my own documents and to create /save assignments for my students.

Evaluate the tools you choose to investigate as to their effectiveness, engagement, capabilities and ease of use. I agree that the tools I chose to investigate were more effective one more than the other one.
