Most students enjoy playing digital games, and even if they don't love them, they will have a better time trying to play than maybe working with the class book. 
Although it can be sometimes challenging trying to play digital games in the ELT classroom, because of lack of material or internet connection, I believe teachers should find the way to engage their students with material they will appreciate and enjoy. Luckily I have lots of materials at my disposal, but if I didn't have them, I will still try to use digital games as a part of my lesson plan, by asking students about their favourite games, asking them to play at home and then bring something back as homework for us to discuss together.
