         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello everyone, My name is Dauri Meliza Acosta Robles, I am 29 years old, student of the Foreign Language Bachelor’s program with emphasis in English in the fifth semester, I feel fortunate to share my knowledge and learn from you and participate effectively in this course tour. I am excited to continue learning effective strategies that integrate the English language into science teaching, enriching the learning of my future students. My expectations are to continue improving my didactic skills by acquiring practical tools, developing activities that encourage critical thinking through the different scientific contents.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Why is science Education important? </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>According to the author’s key ideas, scientific education:</p><p><br/></p><ul><li><p>Develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Promotes research and evidence-based learning. </p></li><li><p>Train informed citizens to make responsible decisions in social, environmental and technological contexts. </p></li></ul><p><br/></p><p>My opinion: This article is essential, because it highlights how science not only transmits knowledge, but transforms the way students observe and interpret the world.</p><p><br/></p><p>Teaching the sciences through English, an CLIL approach. Key ideas of the author: </p><ul><li><p>CLIL allows for the learning of scientific content while improving English proficiency. </p></li><li><p>This approach promotes motivation, active learning and integral student development. </p></li><li><p>CLIL involves authentic tasks, constant interaction, the use of materials designed for both purpose, content and language.</p></li></ul><p>I think that the CLIL approach not only facilitates language learning, but also contextualizes it in real and meaningful situations. This is a key tool for improving education where English is learned as a foreign language.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>After reviewing the contents and analyzing the purpose of the course, I can conclude that it is extremely important to integrate science teaching with English language learning. Scientific education goes beyond memorizing concepts, which seeks to form critical thinking and research. By integrating it with the CLIC approach, learning is further enhanced and not only scientific knowledge is acquired but linguistic skills are developed in more real meaningful contexts.</p><p><br></p><p>This approach represents an opportunity to transform pedagogical practices, as a future teacher in the English language, I feel motivated to design learning experiences that are integrated, that are challenging and at the same time accessible to students, Teaching science in English will not be an impossible task but a key tool to build bridges between knowledge and language.</p>]]></description>
