Since the 1700 the cultures around the Nile have been week and poor.

Farming and hydroelectricity need  jobs around the Nile because they need the farming to stay fresh and keep growing and they need hydroelectricity  all renewable electricity and is expected to increase about 3.1% each year for the next 25 years. A tradition in the Nile River is dancing.

The picture shows that all the poor people have to get there own water.

The Aswan dam is a river built across the Nile river to control floods provide water for irrigation, and generate hydroelectricity. The Aswan high dam was constructed between 1960 and 1970 and has a significant effect on the Nile river. The dam was built across the Nile river to prevent the damage which use to occur along the floodplain. It provides about a half of Egypt's power supply and has improved navigation along the river by keeping the water flow consistent.
