         <title>Why do I have to put in a tech request to update or add classes in Moodle? This seems like something that could be done before teachers arrive since admin and the tech team have that information. The current system is inefficient.</title>

         <title>Why did we spend time making teacher recommendations for 11th grade students last year if students still got to choose whatever course they wanted to? I feel that we could reduce the number of schedule changes if students are programmed for the appropriate courses from the beginning.</title>

         <title>Lynx is assigned by day of the week Monday to Friday.  However, Lynx seems to have been added to Powerschool incorrectly, using a D1 to D6 schedule.</title>

         <title>There is a concern from people who have opted out of extended Wednesdays and from people who are thinking about opting out that they will be &quot;blacklisted&quot; and perceived as not being team players. This concern was voiced 4 times at various times last week. Opting out should not be perceived as not being a team player. If I or others are treated unfairly because of our choices, this unfortunately will be a problem. </title>

         <title>I would like to understand the mindset of why we are not offering more enrichment classes during Lynx periods. We spent a LOT of time last year filling out spreadsheets with ideas of how we could make the students&#39; ASB experience richer with non-academic offerings. Based on the current schedule, these efforts seem to have been in vain. </title>

         <title>The &quot;new schedule doesn&#39;t seem all that new. And the schedule has so many impacts from lack of enriching electives to limited student choice to lack of staffing equity. Kids are still moving through the day with the same HR in 9-10,  unable to mix SL/HL students for efficiency where appropriate, no semester classes to free up options, still scheduling certain classes 2xs a week, some 3xs a week, some 4xs a week---no wonder it is so hard create flexibility in scheduling students and to achieve equity among staff assignments!!  At my last school every teacher taught five periods over two days. EVERYONE was two on/two off one day and three on/one off the next. Perfect equity! If you agreed to an extra class you got 20% more pay. If you taught less, you agreed to extra duties or agreed to a reduction in pay.  Power school is capable of doing a lot of cool stuff, but we need to be on a more A/B block Semester/Year system to access this potential. (I think!)</title>
