1.I love the colour organization throughout the sculpture and how it doesn't seem to be clutter and random but thought out.
2. I love the variety of texture, of course some is already found like that but looking at all her work she seems to sometimes cut plastic up to change it up.

This sculpture from Aurora's gallery really stood to me. Three observations that I noticed; is that the forms have a light and three-dimensional quality although it was built up using two dimensional materials, the creatures were illuminated from the inside that also cast a glow through the red material in a whimsical way, and the sculpture has been suspended in the air for this installation which adds an ever more light-weight element to the viewers eye. I had to look up "blights" which is what the artist claimed was represented here. Blights are what happens in nature to plantlife which is a reaction to a pathogenic organism. At first glance I thought it was a cardinal on the red side upside down and a fish on the left side. It turns out that the blights are being represented as the LED lights which makes this piece even more interesting to me. 1. The first thing that caught my eye was the colour palette. I love the limited palette and it has a lot of depth in various shades of pinks and purples, with one blue plastic that really draws the eye. My question is whether you already find tinted plastics, or if you colour them yourself. If the latter, how so?

2. My second question is whether this sculpture is meant to represent a natural form? The curl at the top strongly reminds me of a scorpion tail, yet the rest of the sculpture makes me think of an underwater plant. The layers of opacity and the almost floral-like bursts of plastic remind me of coral reefs.

3. My third question is whether you design your sculptures before you begin, or whether you have a general shape in mind but just build it as you go. I imagine that the variety of plastic you currently have available influences the shape and texture of the sculpture. Artworks such as these are honestly amazing, especially when it allows the viewers to witness the piece at a closer perspective. Everything is all unified and feels like an entirely different world when you view the piece at a different perspective. From a visual standpoint, it all looks like shiny, vibrant glass.
