I'm confused half the time in class when someone calls it out. Someone calls out "Madesyn" and I think they're talking to me. So, I end up saying, "What?" and getting the response, "No, not you: Maddy!" Then, they'll call out "Madisen" and I don't think they're talking to me so, I'll ignore it. Then, they go, "MADISEN, hello, I'm talking to you!" 

I can't win! As I said in the post above: "My spelling is original, but my name? Not so much."
