Unlike most, I did not join the military because of the benefits. I simply joined because my high school classmate and best friend wanted to join and needed someone to go with. He spent weeks asking me to go with him, which was very convincing. I later discovered after joining the awesome benefits of the military, and my family and I have never been happier.

If you are a teenager unsure of what path you would like to pursue after high school, the military might be a great choice. It is filled with job opportunities for personnel and leisure objectives. When you join the military, you might think you are all alone, but you are now a lifelong family member.

I have many people that I am close to that joined the military. All have said that it is one of the best decisions they could have made. Not only does the military have amazing benefits, but it also can create a sense of structure in people's lives and holds them accountable. This is a big thing that all of them have expressed.

I have always thought about joining to military, but life had chosen otherwise for me. Joining the military has so many benefits. Learning responsibilities, benefits for college, showing pride for our country, and getting the chance to make friends from all around. That last benefit is what peaked my curiosity. I love to travel and visit new places. Learning about the different cultures, be in you stay in the States or you travel elsewhere. There is so much to learn from this experience.
