I live with my siblings who are always on the phones and never get rest. When they wake up, they're cranky and don't want to go to school because they are tired. When my step-dad put a screen time timer on my phone, I was sleeping super well! I also was getting better grades than before. When I am looking at a screen, I wear special glasses that cancel out blue light, or I turn on the blue light filter on the device, which is very effective. Now, I must suffer from my siblings never getting rest. But, it isn't only for children. It can also be adults as well. My mom never gets sleep because she's always on Instagram, Facebook, something! When she doesn't get sleep, she's the beast of the house. If i wake her up, my step-dad always says that "I've awoken the beast" which is true. She will get cranky, just like my siblings, and will forget a lot of things.
