The table will consist of a tabletop that 1.2 meter by 0.8 meter and a 0.5 meter folding bracket. The bracket will be nailed into the wall and the tabletop will be nailed into the brackets. This meets my goal of creating a workbench that optimize learning opportunities for the community while being space efficient. This meets my success criteria of increasing knowledge and skills when it offers an area to the community that they can use to improve their repairing skills. It also meets the success criteria of having secure and safe space when the foldable table can offer extra space when folded for more safety while operating on a bike stand. How this works?
During hours that the work area is open the public, users must go check in on a form filling out information enable to access the work area. When they are leaving, they have to check out of the system and they will be monitored to return all the materials and tools.
