I will make clear parameters of when I will use technology inside and outside of working hours, ensuring that there is time during both to disconnect and not look at a screen. For example:

During school: No technology during my lunch break! Instead I can use this time to talk to my colleagues or prepare for a future lesson/class.

After school: No technology after 9pm! This will be my "me time" so that I will be well rested and prepared to teach the next day.

I will create "reset points" throughout the day where students are given the chance to reset and restart their day if they get overwhelmed. This can be a minute of silence after recess or even 10 minutes to organize their desks or finish any assignments.
