1st We ask two questions to find out their prior knowledge: where can we find water? Why does it rain?
2nd We do some experiments to arouse interest among in our students. 
- Heat some water in a kettle: evaporation.
- Hold a large piece of cardboard which has been previously put in the freezer over the spout. Water droplets will form on the cardboard. condensation.
- Precipitation: mix blue food colouring with water. Fill another glass with water and add shaving cream to the top. Next, you add the coloured water to the shaving cream drop by drop using an eye dropper or a straw. 

While doing the experiments we write our predictions and the actual results in a worksheet given by the teacher. We also introduce some vocabulary using the experiments as a context: heat, water vapour, rise up, turn into, droplets, condensation, rain, precipitation.

There is an extra box they don't have to complete at the moment.
5th Children are given strips of paper in which some words appear. They have to order the strips to make sentences that explain the water cycle steps. They work in pairs in this activity.
6th Watch another video similar to the previous one but in this one another step of the water cycle appears. What is it?
7th Children stick the picture of the final step on their sheets. We also work with a sentence that explains this process.
8th To finish the lesson, children can colour a picture of the water cycle, label it using the vocabulary words and glue it to a paper plate. They can attach an arm to the plate with a brass fastener.
