Jefferson park became a seattle park in 1898 and later after world war 2 became the w first 18 hole golf course in seattle. It is now a commonly used park and has a rich community surrounding it.

Pacific tower was originally constructed in 1932 as the U.S. Public Health Service Marine Hospital. Since then, it has served many purposes, including a medical center, Amazon's headquarters, and its current role as a center for healthcare education and nonprofits.
