Corals, the life of coral reefs are consuming micro particles of plastic because the added chemicals in the plastic cause it to taste like food. The problem is that this plastic could be disrupting the corals' digestive system and harming it. It is currently unclear how much plastics corals have eaten, but the suggested solution is to manufacture plastic using chemicals that would make it taste less attractive.

With a population of just over 500, the right whales becoming increasing sparse, especially as the climate changes. Right whales are baleen whales and eat phytoplankton. Inorder to keep themselves alive and able to reproduce they must eat massive quantities of this plankton. However, as the climate changes, so does their prey's availability. Alongside this, humanity cause the direct deterioration of this species by hitting them with boats and having them get caught in fishing nets.
