Did you know that this year was the first time the Exercise Science & Sports Leadership Department has had a Graduate Assistant????

If you've ever walked by the Exercise Science Labs youve probably seen our GA, Shayna Evenchik, hard at work. We are so thankful to have you working with us in the lab everyday, representing the graduate program and the department in the best way! Way to set the bar HIGH for future GA's!! :)

It has been a pleasure and an honor to have you as the fraternity and sorority life GA the past two years. You have made such a difference in the lives of our FSL members and have left an indelible mark on our work, but most importantly in our hearts. Consistently you go above and beyond for our students and have taught them many lessons on how to be a good member, a good leader and an outstanding advisor and mentor. We wish you all the best as you finish your MBA program and as you move on to chart your path in the professional world.

Bob Boyer has been knocking it out of the park during his first year as the Graduate Assistant for JCU Recreation! He has been an enthusiastic and helpful resource for our student employees and made a huge impact on the Club Sports and Intramural Sports programs. He might talk about Pittsburgh sports too much, but we'll give him a pass because of the great work he does.

What I learnt this semester is that you both make the magic happen! You listen to our students and community and take the lead on the programs and voila!
