Respond to the scenario independently. Use a blank piece of paper as your “whiteboard.” Sketch, write, draw, whatever you need to do to capture your thinking. Reflection questions:
  1. Awareness: What is your initial reaction? 
  2. Awareness: How do you feel? What excites you? What makes you nervous? Other feelings?
  3. Awareness: How do YOUR expectations align/differ from the expectations of your LEARNERS? 
  4. Analysis: Why do you feel the way you feel? What expectations do you have when you LEAD a learning experience like this? What do you expect it to look like? Feel like? What role do you expect to play? What role do you expect the learners to play?  
  5. Where do those expectations come from? How have you been conditioned to LEAD a formal learning space?  What has your past experience been that has created those expectations? 
  6. Action: What would you do? How would you engage? Try to be as honest/realistic as possible - where would your instincts lead you?
