I selected this book because this is a African American/ Black experience that is common and humorous. I can remember coming home from church to have Sunday dinner with the family and an elder family member was asked to bless the food, or say grace, and peeping my eyes open to see if they were done yet. It is all to funny because it is not uncommon to be standing saying grace for at least 5 minutes or longer while the food gets cold.
