People Person: I think that making connections with people is one of the main reasons why we were put on this earth. I have learned more from meeting different people and talking to them about their lives and looking through a window into their personality. The best way to meet and make connections with people is by working with them-on anything creative. I adore working with other people. I always fall in love with my casts and grow extremely close with them.
Working with others: I strongly believe that if you set the precedent of being kind, interested, and open, then everyone else in your group will reflect that as well. I always try and bring a positive attitude to any and all work I do. Having fun is a huge part of being productive and will make your product ten times better! Open your heart to others and they just might give you the key to theirs. Don't hesitate to show interest in other's lives, they will appreciate that more than you know.
Smiles are contagious: If you act a certain way, bets are that others will catch on and act the same. Choose an attitude wisely..
This class only solidified my strong feelings towards the importance of collaborating. Clearly, collaborating is not only fun, but it also produces amazing results no matter what you are trying to create. I have loved collaborating with our class and I have learned so much.
1. One self-made project I can see myself doing involving collaboration is starting my own production company with a group of people that I work with really well, of course, I would want to do this after college.

Entertainment: I have always gotten a sense of fulfillment from pleasing people. So, one of the reasons why I act is solely for the purpose of entertaining people. This may seem obvious, but many actors and performers do their job for different purposes. I love brightening people's days and sometimes all it takes is a little show or dance or scene! I just simply love making people smile and laugh and dance and clap!
Another Reason: The main reason that I act is to tell the story of others. I want to teach the world about things and people that they wouldn't normally ever learn about. I want people to gain empathy for people they know nothing about. For example, I love telling stories about women who never got a voice. My job is to finally give them a voice and make them be heard. I want people to cry and get angry for these women who nobody believed or listened to.
Through this class, I have maintained my love for entertainment and I've seen how so many other people do as well, whether it's conscious or not. I also have loved entertaining our classmates when we do moment work or playwrighting.
1. One self-made project I envision myself doing involving entertainment is doing stand-up comedy or at least having one show here in Austin.

My Acting Coach: My acting coach once told me "the best actors on stage are those with the most life experience" I literally live by this quote. I am daring in everything that I do. I tend to not be scared of anything, which frightens my parents and friends, but always leaves me with great stories at the end of the day. I never hesitate to introduce myself to anyone and everyone. I love making friends and talking to new people because they give me a sense of a new brain and mindset that I could later potentially play in a role.
My Sweet Parents: My parents have always been my #1 biggest fans and for that I am forever grateful. Ever since I was born, they have supported me in my journey to becoming an actress. They once told me, "Eliza, don't ever doubt yourself or else others will start to doubt you too." This quote has never left my brain as I lead my life with confidence. I try my hardest not to ever doubt myself and truly believe that I am capable of anything I put my mind to. As long as I work hard, exude kindness and good vibes, and believe in myself, I can achieve anything and everything.
I think the advice I received from both my acting coach and parents have been apparent in this class as we all have learned so much from each other and we all support each other no matter what. We all believe in one another.
1. One self-made project that I can see myself doing with the advice I have been given would be to share this information in a form of an inspirational book or travel the country delivering this message through a ted talk or motivational speech.

I recently finished starring in a local film being produced here in Austin, called "Posers" This project took a lot of collaboration and I did it because of how much I love acting and it took my passion of entertainment for me to audition for it! It is coming out in May, but here is a photo of me getting my close up in the opening scene :
