Purpose: (to complete all the steps, the graphic designer, narrative video, the google form and the peer reflection)

• This task will help you practice speaking fluently and confidently in English by narrating your "Ideal Day." You’ll describe what makes your day special, share it with your classmates, and provide feedback on their work.

• You will also learn how to use descriptive language to create vivid and engaging stories.

Task Structure:

• Your narrative should have three parts:

  1. Introduction: Describe when and where your day starts.

  2. Main Activities: Explain the activities you would do in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

  3. Conclusion: Reflect on why this day is meaningful to you.

1 - Download the Graphic Organizer:

• Access the graphic organizer shared by me (via link - My Ideal Day's Graphic Organiser).

• Use this organizer to write down your ideas for each part of your day.

2 - Brainstorm Your "Ideal Day":

• Think about what would make a perfect day for you. Use the following prompts to guide your ideas:

  • When does your day begin? Where are you?

  • What activities would you do in the morning, afternoon, and evening? (main Activities)

  • Who would you spend time with? Why? (How does your day differ's from the previous day?)

  • Why is this day important to you?

3 - Fill Out the Organizer:

• Complete each section of the organizer with as much detail as possible.

• Use descriptive language to include sights, sounds, feelings, and emotions. (if possible attach images/pictures or videos to support your evidence)

Access this Padlet Board:

• Use this Padlet board titled "My Ideal Day." space to add your Narrativies, follow the instruction below.

Create Your Post:

• Click the “+” button to create a new post.

• Write your narrative in three sections: (Remember - Narration should be a video response, which includes the below)

  1. Introduction: Describe when and where your day begins.

  2. Main Activities: Detail what happens during the morning, afternoon, and evening.

  3. Conclusion: Explain why this day is special to you.

• Optional: Add images, drawings, or links to make your post more engaging.

Submit Your Post:

• Review your narrative for clarity and grammar before posting.

• Once satisfied, click "Post" to publish your work on this Padlet.

Read Your Classmates’ Posts:

• Explore the Padlet board and read at least three classmates’ narratives.

Leave Constructive Comments:

• Provide feedback on their posts by commenting directly on this Padlet.

• Use these feedback prompts:

  • "I loved how you described your morning activities—it was very vivid!"

  • "Why did you choose this activity for your afternoon? It sounds exciting!"

  • "You could add more details about your conclusion to make it stronger."

• (Rememeber being nice wont cost us much, but it sure - brightens someones day!)

1 - Complete the Google Form:

• Use the shared Google Form titled "My Ideal Day Reflection and Feedback!."

• Answer all questions honestly to reflect on your work and your classmates’ feedback.

  • What did you enjoy most about creating your narrative?

  • What feedback did you find helpful?

  • What could you improve next time?

Submit the Form:

• Make sure all sections of the form are complete before submitting it.

• Re-attach your google form response back here as evidence!

Be creative and imaginative. Make your "Ideal Day" as unique and interesting as possible.

Use descriptive language to help others visualize your day.

Respect your classmates’ work when giving feedback. Be constructive and kind.
